Who is responsible
Spritzwondergadgt Ltd, 42 Clerkenwell Road, London EC1M 5PS, United Kingdom, company no. 15190468, is the publisher and controller of personal information it receives through editorial correspondence. Contact [email protected] for privacy enquiries.
Reading the website
The site is a static publication. Its supplied code does not include advertising trackers, analytics, account registration or remote form submission. Page delivery necessarily involves technical requests to the hosting service. Those requests can include an IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. Hosting and security systems may record technical logs for delivery, fault diagnosis and abuse prevention.
Where technical information is processed for site security and reliable delivery, the relevant purpose is maintaining a functioning, secure publication and the legal basis is legitimate interests, subject to applicable law. We do not use the supplied site code to create advertising profiles.
The local enquiry tool
Information typed into the contact tool is processed in the current browser page to prepare a plain-text draft. The tool does not transmit the fields to a server or save them in localStorage. Your browser may separately offer autofill or form restoration according to its settings.
Copying places the text on your device’s clipboard. Downloading creates a text file on your device. You control those copies and should remove them if you do not want them retained. Avoid entering confidential or sensitive information. Closing or refreshing the page can discard the tool’s current in-memory draft.
Email correspondence
If you choose to send an email, we receive the information you include, such as your name, address, message and attachments. We use it to respond, investigate corrections and maintain a record of relevant editorial correspondence. Our usual legal basis is legitimate interests in answering enquiries and maintaining accurate content; legal obligations may require additional retention.
We retain correspondence only for as long as needed for the enquiry, a relevant editorial record or a legal requirement. Retention depends on the nature of the message rather than an automatic promise of immediate deletion. We do not sell enquiry data or add correspondents to a marketing list through this tool.
Browser storage
If you save a browser preference on the Cookies page, the choice is stored locally under spritzwondergadgt-preference. It contains a preference value, not contact details. You can remove it on that page or through your browser settings. See Cookies and browser storage.
Service providers and external sites
Hosting and email providers may process technical information or correspondence to deliver their services. Applicable safeguards are required where personal data is transferred internationally. Information may also be disclosed where legally required. External reference links take you to other organisations with their own privacy practices; they do not load embedded content into these pages.
Your rights and choices
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of personal information and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Rights are subject to legal conditions and exemptions. Contact us with enough information to identify the correspondence concerned; we may need to verify your identity without collecting unnecessary information.
You may raise a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or with a competent supervisory authority. This notice may be updated when the publication’s processing changes. The current published version applies to the described site features.
